About

Mazabuka Community Church’s name was used as we felt that “community” emphasized that the church is a family of Christ followers within the Mazabuka Community where each person has a vital role to play.

Ephesians 4:12 – to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.

The church started out as an autonomous home group in the early 1990’s where a few families met together for fellowship and prayer in the week. Later in about 1998 this group started to meet regularly on a Sunday in two homes at opposite ends of the Mazabuka district. After some years of meeting on alternate Sundays we moved to the Mazabuka Turf club for our Sunday gatherings which began to happen every week at this venue.
